Your data is safe. Offline on your device.

Your customers, your contracts, your numbers stay on hardware you own — the laptop on your desk, or one server for the whole team. Nothing leaves it unless you say so.

Everything is connected. Nothing forgotten.

Customers, projects, invoices, people — one database, on your servers.

A question about an overdue invoice reaches the project behind it and the person to call — read by Pirol AI in the EU, or by an AI of your own.

It keeps working when you don’t.

The desktop app is where you work. The agent is where the work carries on.

It runs on a server rather than a laptop — around the clock, with nobody at the keyboard. And it works in the same database your team does, so there is nothing to export and no connector in between. It asks before every write.

Frequently asked questions.

What can Kyte do?
Kyte is a desktop app where AI agents build your company’s software — a CRM, an ERP, the vacation tracker you never got around to — and then do the work inside it. You ask for the tool you are missing in plain words, and the agent builds it on your data: tables, forms, views. From then on it also drafts the quote, updates the deal after your call and prepares the month-end.
How does Kyte work?
You describe what you need. The kyte agent creates the tables and screens for it, right next to the data you already keep in Kyte, and there is no connector or export in between because it all sits in one database. It asks before every write, so nothing changes without you seeing it. And it keeps going when you close the laptop: on a server, around the clock, with nobody at the keyboard.
Is Kyte free?
Yes. The Free plan is €0 with no card required and about 10 million Pirol AI tokens a month, and it is not a trial version: the desktop app with its CRM, ERP and the rest, the agent working inside them, background agents, skills and local AI are all in it. Building apps of your own with Kyte Extend is part of Pro, at €19 a month, which also adds the frontier models, audio transcription and memory across conversations — seven days of it are free to start. Scale begins at €90 for heavier use. And if you bring your own provider key, you can keep working without paying us anything at all.
Can one person pay for the whole team?
Yes — that is what the Team plan is for. One card pays for everyone, and one invoice arrives at the end of the month instead of one per colleague. A seat costs less than the same plan bought individually, and you get roles, audit logs and a spend limit per person, so nobody has to guess what the month will cost. The seat prices are on the pricing page.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac or a Windows PC. Kyte is a desktop app you download and install — there is nothing to set up on a server first, and no account for your whole team to create before you can try it.
Where is my data?
On hardware you own: the laptop on your desk, or one server for the whole team. Nothing leaves it unless you say so, and hosting that server yourself is free on every plan. If you would rather not run one, an online database with backups is available for €30 a month.
Does Kyte work offline?
Yes. You create an account once, and after that the app works without an internet connection. If you also want the AI itself to run without a connection, Pirol Local runs models on your own hardware — included in every plan.
Which AI models does Kyte use?
Whichever you prefer. Pirol AI comes with every plan and needs no provider key of your own; if you already have an OpenAI or Anthropic account, you can bring your own key on any plan and use any of their models; and with Pirol Local the models run on your own hardware instead. Pro and Scale add the frontier models.
Does the agent ask before it changes anything?
Yes — it asks before every write. Nothing is created, changed or deleted in your data without you approving it, and every action is recorded in an audit log you can read afterwards.
Can I get my data out again?
Yes. Kyte exports your data from inside the app whenever you want it — it is your CRM, your contracts and your numbers, and leaving should cost you nothing but the download.
How is Kyte different from a CRM or an ERP?
A CRM is a finished product: someone else decided what a customer record looks like, and you adapt your company to it. Kyte has no fixed modules. The apps are built around how you already work, by an agent, in an afternoon — and when the way you work changes, you say so and they change too.
How is an agent different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers. An agent does the work: it opens the record, writes the entry, prepares the report, and tells you what it did. The kyte agent works in your company’s own data rather than in a chat window, which is why it can carry a task through instead of handing you a text to copy somewhere else.

Dedicated to the pioneers of computing.

Between 1936 and 1938, Konrad Zuse built the first freely programmable computer in his parents’ living room in Berlin. Twenty thousand hand-cut metal parts, programs on punched 35 mm film. No lab, no funding.

That machine is why Kyte looks the way it does. We named our interface after it: the Z1 design.
