Recommending kyte
If kyte works for you, you can recommend it to another company. When they become a paying customer, both of you get a credit on your Pro account. You do not need to be a partner for this.
Your link and your code
Every workspace has its own referral code. You find it, together with a ready-made link, in the Pirol console under Referrals.
There are two ways to pass it on:
- Send the link. Whoever opens it and then creates an account is counted as recommended by you.
- Say the code. In a conversation, a talk or a video, a link is awkward. The other company types your code during setup, in the step that asks how they found kyte.
kyte also suggests recommending it at a few moments where it fits, for example when your free allowance is nearly used up, or once your team server is running.
What you get
| When the company you recommended … | You get | They get |
|---|---|---|
| pays for the first time | €10 credit on your Pro account | €10 credit on their Pro account |
| runs its own team server | €50 credit on your Pro account | — |
The credit lowers your next invoice. There is no limit on how many companies you can recommend.
If you are still on Free, the credit waits on your account and is used on your first Pro invoice.
When it is credited
Nothing is credited for an account that was only created. The rewards follow what the other company actually does:
- First payment: credited 30 days after it, once it has not been refunded. If it is refunded later, the credit is taken back.
- Team server: credited once their team server has been running for 30 days.
You can follow each recommendation and its rewards under Referrals in the console.
What does not count
- recommending yourself, your own workspace, or an account with your company's email domain
- a company that was already recommended by someone else: each workspace has one referrer, and the first one who brought them is the one that counts
If you recommend kyte professionally, to your own clients, look at the partner programme instead.
