What can I use kyte for?

kyte is for the work a small service company does every week: keeping track of customers, running projects, repeating the same handful of processes without forgetting a step, and writing down how things are done so the answer does not live in one person's head.

Every one of those has its own app, and one agent can reach all of them. That is the part that is new — not another window to fill in, but someone to ask.

Things people actually do with it

"Add Northwind as a customer, with Carol as the contact." The agent creates both and links them. You see the record it wrote, and you can correct it in the form like any other row.

"Which projects have unbilled hours from last month?" It reads the time entries and answers. No export, no spreadsheet.

"Start the onboarding process for the new customer." Processes are written once as steps; each run is its own checklist, and the agent can tick steps off as it does them.

"What did we agree about invoicing with this customer?" It searches your own documents in Knowledge — the ones you wrote, or a folder of files on your drive — and answers with what is in them.

"Prepare the monthly invoice run — check every open time entry against its rate card." That is a longer job, so you send it to the background and keep working while it runs — see working with the agent.

"We need a small app for equipment loans." Switch to Extend and describe it. kyte builds the tables and the screens, and it becomes a normal part of the workspace.

What it is not

It is not a chatbot bolted onto a database. The agent acts as you: it sees what your role lets you see, and it asks before anything consequential — see working with the agent.

It is not a replacement for your accountant's software, and it does not file your taxes.

And it is not a system you need a consultant to set up. The first start takes a few minutes; see your first hour.

Who it is for

Companies of a handful of people, where everyone does several jobs and nobody has time to maintain five disconnected tools. If you have a full-time systems administrator and a Salesforce contract, kyte is probably not your next purchase.
