Colleagues and roles
A workspace with a team server can hold more than one person. Each of them signs in with their own Pirol account and sees the workspace through their own role.
Adding someone
Members are managed in the Pirol console, not in the app — Settings → Team shows who is in the workspace and links there.
The colleague then installs kyte and presses Login with Pirol. Their account already knows which workspace and which server; nobody types an address, a fingerprint or a password. See the first start.
What a role decides
Every member has exactly one role, and it decides which data they may see and change:
| admin | everything, including settings, roles and sharing apps |
| pm | the working data — projects, customers, processes |
| finance | the money side |
| employee | their own work: time entries, running processes |
| contractor | a narrow slice, for people outside the company |
| viewer | reads, changes nothing |
The rule is enforced in the database, not in the screen — which is why an app built with Extend inherits it without doing anything, and why the agent does too: it acts as you and can reach exactly what you can. See working with the agent.
Two people, two answers
The same question can return different answers to different people, and both are right. Each answer is filtered to what that person may know.
When someone leaves
Remove them in the Pirol console. Their device stops syncing at its next check; the data already on that machine stays there — kyte cannot reach into someone's laptop, and it does not pretend to. Take the laptop back if that matters.
